• 2 Tbsp Split Green Lentils
  • 1 Cup Rice
  • 1/2 Tsp Cumin Seeds
  • 1/2 Tsp Red Crushed Chili (Optional)
  • 1 Tsp Salt or To Taste
  • 1 Small Onion
  • 2 Tbsp Desi Ghee
  • Water as Required


In pot, add ghee, cumin seeds and roast

Then add onion and fry until translucent

Now add split green lentils, red crushed chili, salt and 1 glass of water

Mix well and bring it to boil, cover & cook on medium low until tender.

Cook until water is reduced

Finally steam cook for 10-12 minutes
