Ingredients:

For Kofta:

  • 1 Bunch Spinach
  • 2 Green Chilies
  • 1/2 Kg Ground Beef
  • 2-3 Tbsp Gram Flour (Roasted)
  • 1 Tbsp Ginger & Garlic Paste
  • 1 Egg
  • 1 Tsp Coriander Powder
  • 1 Tsp Cumin Powder
  • 1 Tsp Red Crushed Chili
  • 1 Tsp Turmeric Powder
  • 1 Tsp Salt or To Taste
  • 2 Green Chilies
  • 1 Medium Onion

For Gravy/ Curry:   

  • 250ml Cooking Cream
  • 1 Cup Oil
  • 1 Tbsp Ginger & Garlic Paste
  • 1 Onion (Fried)
  • 1 Tomato
  • 1 Tsp Turmeric Powder
  • 1 Tsp Salt or To Taste
  • 1-1/2 Tsp Red Chili Powder

Directions:

In bowl, add mince, turmeric powder, red crushed chili, garam masala powder, salt, cumin powder, roasted gram flour, egg, ginger & garlic paste, finely chopped green chili & onion and mix it.

Put some oil on your palms and make meatballs (kofta), you can make in any shape you like

Add water in spinach, green chili and grind it.

In pot, add oil, ginger & garlic paste and fry

Grind tomato, onion, add in it and sauté

Add red chili powder, salt, turmeric powder and fry

Now add meatballs (kofta) carefully and cover it for 8-10 minutes (DO NOT USE SPOON AT THIS STAGE)

After 8-10 minutes, stir pot/ meatballs with hands, don’t use spoon yet

Let it cook until meatballs become hard (5-10 minutes)

Add green gravy (spinach & green chili), cooking cream, mix it well and cook for 15-20 minutes on low heat
