Ingredients:

  • Bhindi (Lady Finger/ Okra) 1/2 Kg (After Cutting)
  • Mutton 1/2 Kg
  • Pyaz (Onion) 4 Large
  • Tamatar (Tomatoes) 2 Large
  • Hari Mirch (Green Chilies) 6-7
  • Tail (Oil) 1 Cup
  • Lehsan Adrak Paste (Ginger Garlic Paste) 2 Tbsp
  • Dhaniya Powder (Coriander Powder) 2 Tsp
  • Zeera (Cumin Seeds) 1 Tsp
  • Sabut Kali Mirch (Black Pepper) 1 Tsp
  • Garam Masala Powder 1-1/2 Tsp
  • Sabut Dhanaiya (Dry Coriander Seeds) 1 Tbsp
  • Namak (Salt) 2 Tsp or To Taste
  • Lal Mirch Powder (Red Chili Powder) 1 Tbsp
  • Haldi Powder (Turmeric Powder) 1 Tsp
  • Pani (Water) As Required

Directions:

In pot, add oil, onion and fry until translucent

Add mutton, ginger garlic paste and cook until mutton changes color

Add coriander powder, cumin seeds, black pepper, garam masala, dry coriander (crushed), salt, red chili powder, turmeric powder, tomatoes, green chilies, 1 liter water and cook for 35-45 minutes or until mutton is done.

In frying pan, add oil, okra/ lady finger and cook on high flame for 3-5 minutes.

Add onion and cook on medium flame until okra/ lady finger is done (approx 5 minutes)

Now after 34-45, check mutton if it’s done then cook for another 5 minutes until oil separates

Add fries okra / lady finger, garam masala and steam cook for 2-3 minutes.
