For Papdi Dough:

  • Maida (All Purpose Flour) 2 Cup
  • Suji/ Rava (Semolina) 1/2 Cup
  • Tail (Oil) 1/4 Cup
  • Cheeni (Sugar) 1 Tsp
  • Namak (Salt) 1 Tsp
  • Ajwain (Carom Seeds) 1/2 Tsp
  • Pani (Water) As Required

For Chat:


For Dough:

In bowl, add all purpose flour, semolina, oil, sugar, salt, carom seeds and mix it until becomes crumbs.

Add water gradually to make dough and let it rest for 15-20 minutes.

Roll out dough with the help of rolling pin as thin as you can.. like Roti.

Punch on it with fork and cut round shape with the help cutter or any bottle or jar cap.

In wok, heat cooking oil, and fry until golden brown and crispy.

For Chat:

In plate, add papdi, boiled potato, onion, boiled chickpea, cabbage, green chatni, imli khubani chatni, pomegranate and again papdi layer.
