Ingredients:

  • Mutton 1-1/2 Kg
  • Pyaz (Onion) 5 Medium
  • Lehsen Adrak Paste (Ginger Garlic Paste) 2 Tbsp
  • Dahi (Yogurt) 1 Cup
  • Dhaniya (Coriander/ Cilantro) For Garnishing
  • Hari Mirch (Green Chili) 8-10
  • Tamatar (Tomato) 1 Can or 5 Medium
  • Oil 1 Cup
  • Pani (Water) As Required
  • Kali Mirch (Black Peper) 1 Tsp
  • Zeera (Cumin Seeds) 1 Tsp
  • Dar Cheeni (Cinnamon) 1 Piece
  • Sabut Lal Mirch (Red Chili) 6-7
  • Laung (Clove) 6-7
  • Namak (Salt) To Taste
  • Kashmiri Lal Mirch (Kashmiri Red Chili) 1 Tbsp
  • Dhaniya Powder (Coriander Powder) 1-1/2 Tbsp
  • Garam Masala 1 Tbsp
  • Kuti Lal Mirch (Red Crushed Chili) 1 Tbsp
  • Haldi Powder (Turmeric Powder) 1 Tsp

Directions:

In pot, add oil, red chili (round), cumin seeds, black pepper, cinnamon stick, onion and fry until translucent.

Add ginger garlic paste, mutton, coriander powder, garam masala and cook until mutton changes color.

Add turmeric powder, red chili flakes, salt, red chili powder and cook for 5-6 minutes.

Add one liter water and cook on medium flame for 45 minutes or until mutton is tender

Add peeled tomatoes, yogurt and cook for another 10 minutes

Add green chilies, coriander and enjoy on this Eid.
