Ingredients:

  • Mutton 1kg
  • Oil 1 cup
  • Lehsen Adrak Paste (Ginger Garlic Paste) 2 Tbsp
  • Dhaniyan (Fresh Coriander) For Garnishing
  • Kali Mirch (Black Pepper) 10-12
  • Dhaniyan Powder (Coriander Powder) 2 Tsp
  • Haldi Powder (Turmeric Powder) 1 Tsp
  • Kashmiri Lal Mirch (Kashmiri Red Chili) 1 Tbsp
  • Garam Masala 1 Tbsp
  • Ral Mirch Powder (Red Chili Powder) 2 Tsp
  • Namak (Salt) To Taste
  • Chicken Cube 1 Cube
  • Pani (Water) As Required
  • Pyaz (Onion) 2 Medium
  • Tamatar (Tomato) 2 Medium
  • Hari Mirch (Green Chili) 5-6

Directions:

In wok, add black pepper, ginger garlic paste and fry for 1-2 minutes

Add mutton, garam masala, coriander powder and cook until mutton changes color

Add kashmiri red chili, red chili powder, turmeric powder, salt, 1 liter water and cook for 45 minutes or until mutton is tender

Now add tomato, onion & green chili paste, chicken cube and cook until oil separates

Add potatoes and cook for 5 minutes.

At this stage if you don’t want runny gravy then you can cook until potatoes are done and you serve as it is after potatoes are tender

Otherwise, you can add 2 cups of water and cook for 10-15 minutes or oil separates.

Garnish with fresh coriander.
